GRANT OBJECTIVE:

To provide Carolina TESOL members an opportunity to enhance the educational experience of English language learners by supplying financial aid (up to $750) for activities/initiatives that promote learning.


The intent is to allow for more creative learning opportunities not normally supported by the school budget that will advance English language acquisition.


Two applicants from each state, North Carolina/South Carolina, will be awarded grants up to $750 each semester, not to exceed $6000 per year.


CRITERIA:


Applicant must be  a Carolina TESOL member in good standing in an educational role that directly impacts English learners in NC and/or SC.

Each member is eligible to be awarded one grant per academic year.


Activities/initiatives should be those that have the most impact on students and English language acquisition.
